Aarhus Chiropractic was created to provide a healthcare experience to those individuals seeking pain and symptom relief without having to accept an impersonal, fast-paced medical clinic setting. Our services offer advanced, highly effective techniques that focus on getting our patients back to optimal health.
Dr. Beth Aarhus provides a careful detailed consultation/history and chiropractic structural examination with emphasis on the spine. She uses the patient consultation, case history and physical examination to evaluate alignment and function of the spine.
Our clinic does not take unnecessary routine x-rays. X-rays will only be recommended on a case by case basis.
What to expect on your first office visit
Your first office visit will consist of completing new patient information forms, a consultation and examination and treatment. On average, your first appointment will take approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Subsequent treatments will last 30 minutes to one hour. This is not a high volume clinic where you will be seen 5 to 15 minutes a day, three times a week for months at a time by different staff doctors and assistants. Treatments in our office are very thorough and you will be seen only as necessary. Our goal is to have you feeling better in fewer visits with the incorporation of physiotherapy modalities in conjunction with the re-establishment of your normal spinal mobility through vertebral alignment.
Dr. Aarhus works closely with many healthcare specialists. In the event that your condition is not something that will benefit from Chiropractic, you will be referred out to a specialist that can better serve you.
